Christmas Bartering Market

We held our second annual Christmas Bartering Market on December 1st. Our "vendors" did a wonderful job with their booths and baskets. Many good trades were made and a great time was had by all.

Early Registration for Spring 2010

Early registration for Spring 2010 is now closed. We still have a few openings for families who register by January 4th.

We are still in need of one teacher for a K/1st age class as well as potentially one for a middle/high school class.

Please send an email if you are interested in either of these openings or if you have any other questions.

Spring 2010 Registration

Registration is now open for the January, 2010 semester. If you participated in Co-Op this fall, we do NOT need paperwork for you-- unless you've had a change of information (address, phone, etc.).

As you may know, we have a graduated system of discounts available for our members. Our Basic Family Membership is $45 per family per semester. We offer a $5 discount for early registration (payment and registration forms received by December 15th, 2009) as well as a $10 discount for Co-Lead Teachers and a $20 discount for Lead Teachers. In order to qualify for one of the teaching discounts, you must have a confirmed teaching spot with us prior to making your payment. Please email us if you are interested in teaching a class and we will let you know what areas have openings. All of our parents are required to either teach or assist during both periods each week.

You can either pay by check (made out to SHHC) or use the Paypal links on the sidebar. If you use Paypal, please be aware that a small additional charge (shows up as 'shipping') has been included to cover the Paypal transaction fees.

If you are new to SHHCo-Op (or have been inactive for more than 1 semester), you can download the registration forms from the links on the sidebar and mail them along with your registration fee. If you need our address, please send an email us to southhallhomeschoolco-op@hotmail.com.

Registration for classes will begin sometime in the week of January 4th, after membership registration has closed. We will be offering classes for the following age groups: preschool, K-1st grade, K-3rd, 2nd/3rd, and 4th and up.

Spring 2009 Family Night

Mark your calendars and invite your family & friends! Co-Op's 2nd annual "Family Night" is scheduled for April 14th at 7:00 pm at Blackshear Place Baptist Church. This should be a great night to highlight our children's accomplishments at Co-Op as well as at home. Don't miss this wonderful evening!
